Lomatium, Foothill;  Lomatium utriculatum

Early bloomer.  Tiny yellow flowers in flat-topped clusters.  Related to Queen Anne’s Lace and Poison Hemlock.

Notes:  Carrot Family.  Also called Wild Carrot.  Some species, when soaked in water, were used for birth control.  (Have people look at leaves and guess what family it might belong to.)
