Living History and Art Show

Part 1 of 4

This year, an Art Show & Sale accompanied Living History Day as it did last year.  However, instead of the more than 50 artists in booths in and near the fenced yard surrounding the Historic Barn, the show was limited to about a dozen artists in the area opposite the entrance to the barn.  This made room for a Mountain Man encampment on the grassy area next to the Visitor Center, and was a good match to the 350 visitors who enjoyed the day.

Photos from the event are given in four parts (Web pages) as listed below.  The theme and a few items  on each page are listed for those looking for specific things or are coming back to see items again.

This sign greeted visitors at the entrance to the main parking lot.

The historic barn and artists' booths, just after being set up in the morning.

The Keltic Duo wandered from place to place to play for us.

Here they are with Rick Toles near the History Station.

Addition of new planter boxes at the Visitor Center continues beautification of the park.

Wagon rides with Ann Tatum were enjoyed by many.

Another ride, more happy folks

A hot dog (or a polish dog) plus chips and a soft drink, mmm!

Many enjoyed lunch at picnic tables between the Visitor Center and the Mountain Man encampment.
